About Lucy:

Lucy Chen grew up in China and arrived in the US in 1994 for graduate school. After receiving an MS in Environmental Engineering from UCLA in 1996, she delved into engineering and quantitative analysis in the consulting, healthcare, and finance sectors and became a financial risk executive. Lucy is a certified Human Potential Coach and Psychological Fitness Specialist who founded Gifted Coaching, bringing two decades of mentoring and coaching experience. A Distinguished Toastmaster, she excels in public speaking, career development, well-being, and financial coaching. She is also a founding member of the San Francisco Chapter of Chief, a private network for women executives.

She co-chairs the Albany Asian Pacific Islanders Parent Engagement Group while advising Catalyst Youth Network, a nonprofit organization that empowers underserved Oakland youth. A yoga enthusiast and black belt taekwondo martial artist, Lucy shows that family and health-conscious living go hand in hand.

In 2023, Lucy published her first English book, “Build Resilience: Live, Learn, and Lead”
