Roy has been an advocate of local arts and entertainment for over a decade, dipping his foot into acting, writing, directing, painting, and having a reputation of improv’ing your face off. He is the founder of “MProv”, an improvisational comedy troupe based out of Murfreesboro, TN, and has acted in many local stage plays including Play It Again Sam, King Lear, Swimming In the Shallows, The Foreigner, The Odd Couple, and then stepping into the director’s chair for The Nerd.He is a father of 2, the husband of a school teacher, and left his comfy job years ago to full-on pursue being an entertainer of all things artistry. With many productions as director and actor under his belt, Roy has worked to hone and grow his craft to that of what it is today, and while he has been a creative person most of his life he looks forward to learning more each and every day.
