For the first time in the TJO series, I was blessed to be able to speak with two members of my family at the same time - mother and daughter Shobhana and Rupal Amlani. As one of the four Dattani sibling sisters, Shobhana fai recalls how much she enjoyed the life of growing up in Jinja, leaving for Mombasa not long before Idi Amin's request for the exile of foreigners, and some more fond stories and opinions of Ba and Bapuji. In addition, I managed to hear from both Shobhana fai and Rupal on their memories of life in Mombasa, Kenya, and transitioning to life in London and Leicester.
