In Episode 4, we pay tribute to John Blackwell, drummer for Prince, Justin Timberlake, Patti LaBelle, CAMEO, D’Angelo, “Bootsy” Collins , & many others. We look at some clips of his past work as we talk about John, his legacy, & how his amazing drumming went global!
We also take a few minutes to talk about the loss of drummer Christian Thomas Leonard, a young drummer from Atlanta, whose loss has really hit our city’s music community hard.
