This week I blom with Thando Soundy otherwise known as Clyde Soundy or Clyde Angelwing, a multi talented artist who creates art, music and spaces. He lets us in to his universe, taking us along the road to pursuing his design career and his career as a musician. From where the journey began in his days as a Wits Architecture student to how he keeps himself driven in his ambitions. We discuss the importance of mental health and physical well-being in the pursuit of our dreams & how he deals with self-doubt as an artist. To end things off, Angelwing discusses the response to his latest EP “These Days” where he can be found showcasing his assorted flair, appetite and passion for rap and music. Influenced by different genres and sounds, it is clear that Clyde Angelwing is not a musician that should be boxed in. This is certainly demonstrated in his first music video “Can’t Cope” where he is featured by friend and fellow musician Groovy.
