Since this podcast started out with reading an excerpt from The First Woman, it seemed appropriate to review it at the end of the month. This book captured everything that is feminism, giving themes of motherhood, family and friendship.

If you haven't read this, then I suggest you pick it up, beautifully written as always with history being the  background of the story and never for once coming into the foreground and overshadowing it.
