Growing up in Houston in a disjointed and abusive family, Andre was forced to fight for his survival.

But the fights were more than physical. He would end up fighting for his identity, sexuality, and ultimately, his life.

But through sickness and a shocking diagnosis, Andre found the motivation to confront his religiosity and start seeking God in action.

That decision showed him the power of God's Word in helping him to make changes he never could on his own.

Andre's story will show you that God can love you through anything and overcome any darkness you feel inside.
