This interview is one I had with Annie Laurie Gaylor who is the co-president of the Freedom from Religion Foundation, also known as the FFRF.
The FFRF is currently party to a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the Nation's first religious public charter school right here in Oklahoma. The non-profit group has been quite active in the sooner state in other ways as well. They recently got a Tulsa Public School to remove Christian displays from several of their classrooms, and another public school district in the state to stop hosting daily prayers during its morning announcements.
During our conversation, we talked about those cases and much more. While this conversation hosts ideas which typically are not in the majority in Southwest Oklahoma, that reality makes this conversation an even more important one to have.
