Ep 4: When Will Women Be Good Enough for A Man's World?

Listen Later

In celebration of International Women’s Day AND Women In Science Day which was a few weeks back, we are thrilled to have Arthie talking to us today about her experiences as a woman in engineering and working in a male dominated environment.

Where do you even begin to tackle the hurdles that come with gender bias? And what do you do when it’s the Queen Bee herself who’s out to get you?

Listen to this episode for some great top tips, advice and a two sided discussion about how inequality still infiltrates every part of our lives. Not to mention how we need to continue to fight against it, not just for ourselves but for those women and minority groups who don’t have a voice at all.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts and please do reach out with any questions. Boys - this applies to you too!

If you are interested in doing engineering in the future and don't know where to start - take a look at the UCAS website for a breakdown of all your choices. As Arthie advised - it's always good to do your research!
