My spiritual teacher, HH Kadamba Kanana Swami, recently passed away, I am mourning for him.

He told me at our beginning of teacher and student relationship, his main message was “BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF AND YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE”

Don’t pretend to be someone you are not. If you are not honest with yourself, spiritual life and self realisation is very difficult.

I always valued being honest, and since he told me so it has been kept in my heart.
