In today's episode, I wanted to have a discussion about metabolism and how we can start interpreting the word correctly. When talking about a topic like this, it can be very confusing on how it impacts us, what we can do to improve it, or even understand what it is.
To help us through the episode, I focus on 4 key points that make up our Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) and their impact on our metabolism: 1) BMR. 2) Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (NEAT). 3) Physical Activity. 4) Diet-Induced Thermogenesis.
