Welcome to Season 3!!! We got an interesting one for y’all. I'm really excited as we got some people who I adore but don’t know that well musically coming up soon but for now let's review Freddie Gibbs!

Freddie Gibbs or “Fredrick or Fredtayvious Jamel Tipton” is a midwest rapper from Gary, Indiana.

Gibbs had a deal with Interscope but was sadly dropped in 2006. That did not stop him though. He released multiple mixtapes and worked his way independently to a respected status in the rap game. Gibbs hard work paid off as he is now signed to Warner as of 2019.

In this episode we wanted to listen to some early mixtape Freddie to see where his mind and metal were at.
