Accuracy Critique:

1. Straight Outta Compton (2015) - Directed by F. Gary Gray; Based on the history of seminal Gangsta Rap Group N.W.A.

2. Anastasia (1997) - Directed by Don Bluth & Gary Goldman; Loosely based on the rumor that Grand Duchess Anastasia of Russia escaped the execution of her family

3. Daughters of the Dust (1991) - Directed by Julie Dash; An account of a fictional family of Gullah Islanders during The Great Migration of African-Americans in America.

 

Inspired Further Research:

1. Zodiac (2007) - Directed by David Fincher; Based on the non-fiction crime book "Zodiac", written by Robert Graysmith, about the unsolved serial murders committed by the "Zodiac Killer".

2. Titanic (1997) - Directed by James Cameron; Based on accounts of the sinking of the RMS Titanic

3. Rosemary's Baby (1968) - Written & Directed by Roman Polanski
