Record Store Day or RSD, if you're into the whole brevity thing started off as a great idea, to get people's attention back into supporting independent record shops and luckily for us, this also helped bring about the resurgence of vinyl and vinyl collecting a couple of decades ago. But as with every good idea, doesn't always stay as pure as the intent might have been? We do a little digging around and add our collective two cents into the conversation of whether this biannual event is worth it for the consumer and the locations hosting these events.
