The phenomenon of Tulpas in Pop Culture may have given rise to the modern day practice of Tulpamancy, the practice of materializing thoughtforms and allowing them to inhabit your mind, body, and spirit. Tulpamancers are part of a fringe subculture that exists primarily online, and RJ discusses their reasons and methods for creating tulpas and does some ethnography work on this subculture. Elle compares their practice to the concept of spirit guides, and the episode ends with RJ interviewing Elle's spirit guide, Charlie.
