The Bitchery of History

Ep. 4.12: The Journalist and The Suffragette

Listen Later

This week, Max and Allison discuss two women who shed light on the world around them. The first, an investigative journalist and relentless civil rights advocate, became, arguably, the loudest anti-lynching crusader in US history; the second, a doctor and one of the first women ordained as a methodist minister, was a leader of the national suffrage movement in the United States: Ida B. Wells and Anna Howard Shaw. /
