The Mothball Prophecies

EP 42 - Sam's Gramma Jacquie

Listen Later

Sam speaks often about the genesis of this podcast. We all know of her membership in the Antique Study Group and her drive to save the stories of those amazing women. However, it is more accurate to say that the podcast began years before that. Our stories rarely begin when we are born, and this podcast is no exception. The Mothball Prophecies began, before podcasts even existed, in England with a young mother named Jacquelyn. Gramma Jaquie, Sam's maternal grandmother, is this week's guest and arguably the reason there's now so much uranium glass in the Mashburn basement. This also means she's technically to blame for any collection you started after listening to the show (any complaints will be forwarded to Jill). Gramma is a matriarch, a wealth of knowledge, and a joy to listen to. This week you get the real scoop on the origins of the Mothballs.
