Hebrews 11:5–11
How should God’s children respond when the Lord disciplines them?
Scripture is clear: God’s discipline is not something to be ignored, resented, or resisted—it is a gift of grace from a loving Father ❤️. Yet Hebrews warns us that we can “regard lightly” the discipline of the Lord by hardening our hearts, complaining, questioning God’s wisdom, or simply growing weary.
In this message, we will examine the dangers of responding wrongly to God’s correction ⚠️ and the rich blessings that come when we humbly submit to it. The Bible shows us that divine discipline produces life, holiness, and the peaceful fruit of righteousness 🌱—results that could never grow apart from the Father’s loving hand.
Even when discipline is painful, it is purposeful. God trains His children so that we may share in His holiness and experience true spiritual fruit 🍎. Do not lose heart—what God is doing in you is far greater than the moment you are walking through.
