Sinead gave birth to her little girl Lily 9 years ago shortly after the sudden loss of her husband, Geoff..Sinead talks us through giving birth with the support of her family and the days following Lily's arrival. Although her medical team were aware she suffered a 4th degree tear it wasn't until later, after a scope that they found the rectovaginal fistula. Essentially, there was a small tear between the rectum and the vagina which caused passing of stool through the vagina.
