Today we’re exploring how an open and blooming sahasrara, the crown chakra, involves being part of a community, how as yoga therapists we’re trained to make sure our clients are connected to one, and why it makes such a difference to our overall well being, and a life that is healthy and delightful.

Episode Exercise: Pause and ask yourself: What communities are you connected to? Do you feel they are life-giving? Do they reflect some of the positive aspects of sahasrara? Let’s follow this question back down the mountain, along the manifesting current, and let’s see how you do as you run this question through the rest of the chakras:
Do they give you a better perspective on your life?(Ajna)
Do you resonate with them, and do they speak well of each other? (Vishuddah)
Do they open your heart? (Anahata)
Do you encourage each other in positive transformation? (Manipura)
Are they supportive to your emotions and help you navigate life’s obstacles? (Svadhisthana)
Do you feel safe with them? (Muladhara)
