In Episode 44 of the Military Bottom Line Podcast, I sit down with one of my Drill Instructors from 10 years ago when I was a recruit in Delta Company.   Korey excelled early on in his career. After joining the Marine Corps in 2006 with an open contract, he ultimately ended up as a mortar man. With multiple combat deployments and a few meritorious promotions, Korey sought out the Drill Instructor route.  Due to some unfortunate events on the drill field, Korey found himself facing a court martial.
