This week, I sat down with tick expert and founder of the first CDC-compliant tick removal tweezers, Dan Wolff, to talk about how you can prevent bites. Dan, also known as Tick Man Dan, has worked with ticks and has done behavioral tick research for years.  He shares his insight on how to stay protected, such as proper apparel when going into woodlands, treating your backyard with thermacell tick control, and the appropriate tick removal procedure.

This episode is essential and insightful because preventing tick bites and knowing what to do if you have an attached tick can be the defining difference between contracting a tick-borne disease and not.
