Stephen Smith was a bright, hilarious, loved 19 year old. In 2015, he was killed in a rural area of South Carolina. For years, his death was treated as a hit and run, until in 2021, with evidence found during the Murdaugh investigation, SLED reopened his case and is investigating it as a homicide. Stephen's family has fought for years to get answers and find justice for Stephen.
