We are very proud of this episode and we're very excited to introduce our dear friend, Mr. Chris Cruz. Army and Marine veteran, husband, father, master barber + cosmetologist and new barber shop owner of Sarge's Barber Shop located at
West Riverdale Rd, 750, Suite #4, Ogden, Ut 84405
Alicia, Chris and Bethany share some hilarious stories from cosmetology school, but the convo's get candid when we hear about some of the best times and some of the worst times throughout Chris's 5 tours, 14 years served between the marines and army.
Chris details the struggles he faced with physical trauma, PTSD and opens up about his journey in recovery after battling an opiate addiction. With the support of his loving wife and family he sought rehabilitation and found a new form of therapy that worked for him called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
We want to thank Chris for his service and we want to commend all of our other soldiers and veterans who fight to allow us to live the way we do day by day.
For more information regarding EMDR you can visit:

***This is an 18 and up episode. Trigger warning for anyone sensitive to graphic descriptions of active war zones, combat and injury as well as brief talk of substance abuse.***
