Unfinished business. For many of us that's the case at some point in our ultra cycling endeavors. It could have stayed that way for ultra cycling veteran, Dex Tooke, who made it 99% of the way in the Race Across America in 2010 but had to make the difficult decision of DNF'ing just shy of the glorious finish line in Annapolis, Maryland. In his words, there are a thousand reasons to give up and not keep going, but you have to find that one reason to push on. And so in 2011, Dex came back strong with a successful RAAM crossing and has since crewed for countless other solo racers.
