Uttara, the son of King Virata, set out to confront the Kauravas but was overwhelmed by fear upon seeing their formidable army. Despite his initial bravado, he panicked and wanted to retreat. Brihannala, his charioteer, who was actually Arjuna in disguise, encouraged him to face the challenge.
