On this episode of The Life of Phys Podcast, I’m joined by Jake Case, a naturalist, writer, and landscape photographer based in Arizona.

Jake’s passion for the natural world runs deep. He studied geography and geology at Northern Arizona University and has dedicated his career to helping others connect with nature through stories and images.

His journey has taken him across some of the most iconic landscapes of the American Southwest. Jake worked as a tour guide at the Grand Canyon South Rim, a park ranger for the National Park Service at Lake Powell, and a guide at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West, where he specialized in leading the Desert Walk Tour.

Through both storytelling and photography, Jake’s mission is to illuminate the wonders of nature and science uncovering the hidden stories found in the canyons, deserts, and mountains of Arizona and beyond.
