Season 4 of Best Picture Cast is finally here and we are starting off with a two part doozy… LAWRENCE OF ARABIA! This episode is the first of a two part examination of David Lean’s Best Picture winner for the year of 1962. This week’s episode covers the beginning of the movie to the Intermission. Kieran B is joined by Artie B and Jay Dowski to dissect and marvel at all the technical aspects of this film that help it carry such a household name. We talk about why it is held on such a pedestal, and what about the movie may turn people off on their first watch.
