EP 47 - Rosie - 2 Pregnancies & Births, Hospital Waterbirth, Hemorrhage, Retained Placenta, Swift Labour, Experience with Breastfeeding

Listen Later

In this episode I chat to Rosie who talks me through her two pregnancies & births. Rosie utilised the birthing pool in the Coombe and delivered her little boy safely with the support of her midwives and husband. She suffered a hemorrhage so immediately had to leave the pool to be treated. She also had difficulty with her placenta which she goes into. Throughout her second pregnancy she suffered anxiety and had various visits to the maternity hospital to investigate a number of bleeds. Rosie also hoped for a waterbirth second time round but this wasn't signed off due to her previous hemorrhage. She is so open about her journey with motherhood and I truly appreciate her honesty and how much detail she shared.
