Patrick Hickey is a primary school teacher from Limerick since 2014. He is also a Google Trainer, Innovator & Coach, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, an Apple Learning Leader, a PhD candidate. He was born with a right congenital femur disorder and this means he has a prosthetic leg and walks using a crutch. Having completed a Masters, he is now undertaking a PHD focussing on the impact of physical disability on teacher identity. He will talk to us about his own journey and findings that are emerging from the study.
