The Morningland Papers. 3rd Tuesday means cult news and today is a whopper. Many people who have belonged to Morningland Church (now called the Monastery or Morningland Community) over the last 50 years (yeah they are 50 this year), have wondered what happened the day that the male half of the founding married couple died in Crestline, California at the church's resort lodge. Press had been told Dan Sperato got a flat tire who were scheduled to interview him. Disciples were sent away and not told anything but fear mongering. Here we get the story from a clergy member in the church. Called a Gopi, we will call her Gopi X, as she has requested her name be withhold.
