Kreed was a kind and generous person. With the intention of serving and protecting, she became a police officer. But two quick years of service turned her into a suspicious and angry person. Her wife gave her an ultimatum — “Me or your job” — and Kreed chose her wife. After no longer having power over others, it took years for Kreed to find out who she was without that.
But when her wife left her anyway, grief broke Kreed. Regularly sobbing on the floor in fetal position, she managed the pain one minute at a time until an offer from her daughter catalyzed her out of depression. But then she lost another relationship. And then the blow that transformed her — estrangement from her two adult daughters. Kreed Revere is a podcaster, coach, author, public speaker and formerly estranged & now reconciled mom of two adult daughters, grandmother of four and an advocate for repairing and healing relationships between parents and adult children. She works as an estrangement and reconciliation coach specializing in relational communication and ambiguous grief.
When not working with coaching clients or giving talks about estrangement and reconciliation, Kreed hangs out with her two greyhounds, remodels her tiny house or is hanging out with her daughters and their families.
