Alan will discuss the FAR/BAR Section 10 Real Estate Disclosure and the issues that you should know as a real estate agent and as a consumer.  In the FAR BAR AS-IS 2017 contract - Sellers and real estate agents must disclose known defects and hazards. However, it is always in your best interest to disclose all known and suspected hazards. Failure to disclose can result in a failed sales transaction and litigation. Some of the things that must be disclosed are:
  1. Lead paint
  2. Paranormal activity
  3. Emotional defects
  4. Pests
  5. Property drainage issues
  6. Neighbor disputes or boundary issues
