David Lopez is the co-founder and CEO at Gritly. Based in Denver, he grew up in a family-oriented household that gave him his passion for serving those in his community. Like many entrepreneurs, David's path began as early as high school when he worked on building his first company. During college, David began working on what would become the first version of his first scalable company. Gritly started off as a tech sales bootcamp aimed at helping diverse communities gain access to training, hands-on experience, and employers in order to find employment opportunities that generated economic mobility for their candidates. David and his team were able to help a lot of their candidates double and triple their incomes and get off of government assistance programs. In order to scale, the team then launched a software platform that enables any role-specific training program to launch and manage their own bootcamps, while getting access to Gritly's growing network of employers. Outside of building Gritly, David also serves on the Advisory Boards for the Boulder County Workforce Development Center and the Colorado nonprofit, A Precious Child. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his family or improving his golf game.
