"Yes maybe the problem with a living sacrifice
Is that it can crawl off the altar
But where other than the altar
Does the living sacrifice belong?"
The believer is a living sacrifice - one who is expected to live each day of his/her life for the one s/he believes in, and the striking yet simple thing about every living thing is motion. So, every time, as our nature is, we find ourselves in motion. This poem is a reminder of what steps we should be making, even as we walk this space called Earth.
