Today the podcast takes on a more serious tone. I began this podcast with the goal of getting to know how people think, why their belief systems take root and where their belief systems come from. Especially in today's polarized climate, it is essential that we not only partake in but seek out conversations with people that are different from us. Mario Quinn Lyles is the host of his own podcast (LevelUp Podcast), a mentor of underprivileged youth, a father, a dancer, a hiphop recording artist, an educator and a proud black man. It was my honor to get the chance to sit down and discuss issues surrounding race, the Black Lives Matter Movement and the ideological polarization that plagues our society today.
