Ernie is a creative fireball of branding expertise who has been igniting businesses and convenience stores for nearly 30 years.
After spending two years as a concept artist and designer for a high-tech ad agency, Ernie founded Ernburn, a production studio in 1995 that quickly earned a reputation for sparking exciting brand development.
His accelerated branding approach articulated in his book, “Your Brand Sucks" is highlighted by his incredibly successful rebranding of regional c-store chain Maverik, Inc. where he led the transformation from the tired old country store brand into an exciting multi-billion dollar adventure-themed brand.
In 2018, he left his position as Maverik's Executive Director of Marketing to ignite other brands as a professional speaker and consultant. Ernie loves to draw, wakeboard, exercise, mountain bike, watch movies, eat junk food, and spend time with his family and 7 brothers.
Interesting Facts: Ernie hosted and executive produced 13 episodes of a travel TV series called Xtreme Tourist Teaches kids to draw on his YouTube channel Sketch-e (Beware! It's super cringey!)
