This week we will be continuing our music exploration by entering the world of Japanese music, specifically citing J-Pop and the rise of Utaites, V Tubers, and vocal synthesizers. Drawing my own introductions from Vocaloid’s best girl Hatsune Miku, I recall a time in recent memory where a song so perfectly captured my experience and ultimately helped me move forward from a dark place… I hope you too can find the joy in Ayase’s beautiful track: Ghost City Tokyo (幽霊東京).
