Many of us don't recognize a parasitic, sociopathic or psychopathic consciousness unless it is just over the top. Which would mean that the being behaving this way is causing immediate damage or harm to the environment. They are draining energy, causing discord, blatantly manipulating – whatever is happening it's obvious and no one wants to deal with that.

Yet this same type of consciousness lurks in the shadows as it's wrapped around nearly every structure of society that we've grown dependent on. It makes us feel safe or charmed, while it silently drains us of our compassion, humility, creativity, self-respect, and unity.
