We took a break last week, but we’re back...to talk about how we could all use another break. This week, we’re breaking down paid time off (or PTO) and how we neither get nor use enough of it. Americans are taking less time off than we were back in the 80s and our mental health is worse for it. We challenge the workplace stigmas surrounding PTO, talk about why unlimited vacation is a scam and discuss the occupational phenomenon that is burnout. Finally, we offer some helpful solutions to help us all take more time off work and focus on ourselves.
