Ep 5 | Slocum 75th Anniversary Episode!
This week is a super special episode featuring our very own Chris and Phil Slocum!
Phil has been fulfilling client's real estate and insurance needs since 1978! Phil's father (George) started the company 75 years ago in 1949 before eventually allowing his son to take over. Today, his role has changed significantly through the growth and success of our company to become more of a guiding light, a mentor, a trainer and a resource always “on-call” for Slocum's agents and their clients.
Chris graduated from Plymouth State University in May 2007 and immediately began working full time and is currently Vice President at The Slocum Agency, Inc. Since entering the insurance industry he has earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and has been active with the Independent Insurance Agents of Rhode Island Association as a member of the Board of Directors. Chris is also a member of the Communications Committee which assists agents statewide with marketing as Trusted Choice agents.
