Robots are coming to take our jobs 🤖🛠, but is that such a bad thing?

After all, isn't the goal to spend our lives doing that which we find to be truly valuable and enjoyable... not laboring away in some cubicle doing tasks that could be better performed by an Artificial Intelligence system?

Whatever your opinion may be, irreversible trends are taking hold.

Every day, AI systems are getting better at doing YOUR job. Eventually, these AI systems will be better than ALL humans at ALL jobs ALL of the time, except perhaps for those select few jobs that have intrinsic “human value,” such as yogis and massage therapists.

Are we ready for widespread automation and joblessness? How will people earn an income when they are unemployable? What is everyone going to do with all this extra time on their hands? Where will people derive their sense of self worth and fulfillment if not from their careers?
