On the morning of June 12th 1962, 3 men did not stand up for the morning roll call at Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary. Frank Morris, and brothers John Anglin and Clarence Anglin had, by the account of Allen West, escaped Alcatraz. In part 1, we detail the history of escape attempts, and the days leading up to, what is described as the greatest prison escape in American history.
