In today's episode, Ryan speaks to Harry Betts, a Financial investment professional at Goldman Sachs, a former rugby player who played for Oakham School, Northampton Saints, Loughborough Students, and Old Albanian RFC as well as earning age group representative honors.

Having had a torrid time of injuries starting at age 16, his pro contract was torn up after a year out of school with Northampton and quickly had to find his feet when it seemed as though the lifelong dream was over. Loughborough University came to the fore so opting for an education whilst playing rugby and keeping the rugby plan alive seemed like the best option. Harry then joined Goldman Sachs in 2018 in Private Wealth Management London, having completed a year in industry in between second and final year University studies with the firm in 2017. In London he played semi-professionally for Old Albanian RFC. Harry joined the Goldman Sachs Sydney office in September 2022 to join the Australia and New Zealand business.

Most of Harry’s work focuses on working with Family Offices, Founders, Charities & Endowments, with past experience of working with current or former Professional Athletes.
