Happy 1 year anniversary to Lipstick Biddies Podcast! I cannot wait for y’all to hear this episode with my guest Dee Joseph! Dee and I met on IG and were able to really connect at the Lipstick Biddies Podcast ATL Meetup. Dee is a makeup artist, corrections officer, and mom and our stories are so incredibly similar. Not only does Dee give you her tips to network and market yourself in a brand new city, (she also moved from NY to ATL), she gives some inspiring advice to not let fear control you from starting a fresh new life. I know you’ll love this episode and the fun announcements I have for you in the intro!

About our guest:
I've always loved makeup. I first got a taste for professional work when I did my little cousin's makeup for her Miss Teen New York pageant run. After deciding to follow my passion, I got certified through a New Jersey based bridal team in 2015.
Working, learning, and honing my craft has been amazing. My artistry has allowed me to work for runway shows, work on editorial shoots, boudoir shoots, and to be apart of so many beautiful brides' special days. I started doing makeup to share my talent, knowledge and experience with the world through artistry and my blog, but it has become so much more.
In 2020, I decided to re-brand, and thus Crown Makeovers was born. I'm excited to continue my journey in Atlanta, Georgia.
