Setting goals can feel like an extremely overwhelming task, especially when we have a history of not following through on the goals we set out for ourselves. Coming out of 2020, I think it is safe to say that each and every one of us faced road blocks to accomplishing our goals that we truly could have never expected or planned for. Moving into the new year, we can feel a great deal of pressure that because last year was such a mess, this is the year we have to "make up" for what we feel we lost out on. However, this can lead us down the path of setting goals that scare us more than motivate us, and that we wind up giving up on before we give them a real start.
