Educators Among Us

Ep. 51 - Righteous Anger

Listen Later

Very little about anger produces righteousness. Instead, it most often reveals the worst of us by escalating reckless thinking and actions that violate our core beliefs.

Quotes:

Dale Carnegie: Any fool can criticize, complain, and condemn—and most fools do. But it takes character and self-control to be understanding and forgiving.”

Epictetus: “Whenever you are angry, be assured that it is not only a present evil, but that you have increased a habit.”

Bible Verse:

Matthew 5:24-25 A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.

Coaching Question: Did I do my best to opt for love over anger today?
