#1 Sprint more

  • Rhythm/Coordination
  • 10’s, Flying 10s, Flying 15s
  • Bounds and Hops
  • Hills and Sleds
  • #2 Sprinting should not be done at the end of practice or a workout

    • Conditioning and sprinting are two different components
    • Sprinting requires max effort output and recovery
    • Train slow, and you will be slow
    • #3 Train unilaterally

      • Sprinting is done off of one leg
      • Bi-Lateral strength training is great for force production or RFD, performance will improve if you add in equal if not more unilateral training
      • Improve asymmetries and foot function
