Brooke and Sarah are flapping back into your ears with a spine-tingling tale straight outta the fog-choked hills of 1960s West Virginia. That’s right, we’re talking about Mothman—the glowing-eyed harbinger of doom (or confused bird?) who launched a full-blown paranormal panic in the town of Point Pleasant.

We’re diving into the OG sighting near the TNT plant, the utter chaos that followed, and the wave of winged-horror hysteria that gripped an entire town. Was it a cryptid? A warning? A really jacked sandhill crane that sounded like Jurassic Park with a grudge? Because let’s be honest—if something that tall with a 10-foot wingspan screamed dinosaur noises at you in the dark, you’d be phoning the National Guard too.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Mothman episode without discussing the Men in Black—the weirdest government agents to ever threaten someone with confusing metaphors and Joe Biden aviator sunglasses. We get into the lore, the legends, and how badly we want to be old-timey paranormal reporters rolling around the country in a sketchy aluminum trailer, wearing dark sunglasses indoors, chain-smoking, writing articles for Playboy, and muttering “they’re watching us” while pouring diner coffee into a whiskey flask.

So clutch your pearls, dab your brow with a hanky, and prepare for a delightful descent into Cold War–era paranoia, cryptid chaos, and the suspicious lack of bird identification skills in the 1960s.
