Pastor Massey Campos teaches us today about the growth in us that comes when we are pruned by the Lord. The only way we can be transformed is if the gospel of Jesus is in us. The Holy Spirit dwells in us if we have accepted the gospel of Jesus. So pruning is possible by the Holy Spirit because He is living in us and desires to transform us into the image of Jesus. That is His job. Blessings come when God prunes us. Pruning leads to more and better fruit on the tree. A tree does not have to work for fruit. It does not achieve fruit. Fruit is the natural result of the nature of the tree. Our nature is to be like Jesus because His Spirit lives in us.
